Exhaust fumes from diesel vehicles contain fine dusts and soot particles. What is the Warranty on my Genuine Acura Accessory?

Answer:

If the Acura accessory was purchased at the time of the new vehicle purchase: The warranty begins on the same date as the new vehicle's limited warranty. All Accessories are covered for the length of the new vehicle limited warranty, 4 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first.

If the accessories were installed by the dealer after a retail sale, the warranty begins on the date the accessory is installed on the vehicle. All accessories are covered for the longer of the following two periods.

1. The time remaining in the new vehicle limited warranty, or

2. 1 year or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Accessories not installed by the dealer: This Warranty begins on the date the accessory is purchased from a dealer. All accessories are covered for at least one year
