Question:

When I start my Acura I hear a squealing noise from under the hood and the sound continues until the engine warms up - Is it a pulley or a belt?

Answer:

Usually when the sound does stop after the engine warms to the operating temperature, this could mean you need a new belt.

Question:

What is the Warranty on my genuine acura accessory?

Answer:

If the Acura accessory was purchased at the time of the new vehicle purchase: The warranty begins on the same date as the new vehicle limited warranty. All Accessories are covered for the length of the new vehicle limited warranty, 4 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first.

If the accessories were installed by the dealer after retail sale, the warranty begins on the date the accessory is installed on the vehilce. All accessories are covered for the longer of the following two periods.

1. The time remaining in the new vehicle limited warranty, or

2. 1 year or 12,000 miles, whever comes first.

Accessories not installed by the daler: This Warranty begins on the date the accessory is purchased from a dealer. All accessories are covered for at least one year

Clearn cabin filter v. Dirty cabin filter: What this means to you and your family.
